 The Project Academy is led by Founder and Academy Director, Paul Erricker

Paul Erricker BEng (Hons) CEng MICE RPP MAPM

 

Paul is Founder and Director of the Project Academy. He is a Project Manager, Consultant and Facilitator who specialises in developing project and programme management.

 

Formally trained as a Civil Engineer, he gained Chartered status during a fast-track operational career at Costain, including valuable secondments to BAA and Thames Water. He then moved into the area of corporate management and internal consultancy, reporting directly through to Costain’s Executive and PLC Boards. Having delivered successful Group-wide business improvement initiatives and training programmes, Paul then established Erricker and Associates in 2007 and latterly the Project  Academy.

 

Paul was invited by the Association for Project Management to project manage the development and piloting of APM's flagship professional standard, APM Registered Project Professional. Paul has the foremost expertise in enabling organisations to adopt APM RPP to develop their front line project & programme managers.

Lara Taylorson BSc (Hons) RPP FAPM

 

Having been in the project management profession for over 16 years, Lara started her early project management career working on one of London Underground’s early £billion Private Finance Initiatives. Following which she utilised her thorough understanding of the technical aspects of the profession, to lead the delivery of a number of complex projects within Transport for London.

 

Specialising in developing organisation’s project performance through capability development, Lara is a highly motivated and dedicated project manager. She combines excellent interpersonal skills with a thorough understanding of the technical aspects of the profession. This has resulted in her effective delivery of projects in extremely challenging and political environments. With key skills of leadership, negotiation, stakeholder management, communication and decision-making she thrives on the challenges of a highly-pressurised working environment.

 

One of the first to attain the APM Registered Project Professional (RPP) standard, Lara has since gone to become an APM RPP Assessor and Verifier.

Trevor Dawes AFA

 

Trevor manages the talent & performance management systems at the Academy.

 

He specialises in developing skills and competency frameworks, assessment and development processes. Since 2001 he has built a web-based software business delivering skills assessment and development and talent management to companies such as Shell Exploration and Production, Atkins, Costain, Balfour Beatty, Jarvis and many more. He has joined forces with the Project Academy in 2009 where he leads a team providing web-based toolkits to support the Academy’s client needs.

 

Geraldine Duffy BSc RPP MAPM

 

For over 20 years, Geraldine has combined managing projects with educating project management professionals. Her expertise lies in delivering solutions to assess and enhance project management knowledge, skills and competence. She has worked with global corporations and SMEs across many industries to devise both in-house education programmes and training solutions targeted at Project Management qualifications.

Annie Dickinson BSc (Hons) CIPD MNLP

 

Annie  specialises in individual and team performance.

 

Following initial business training in Fleet Street, Annie quickly identified improving organisational & business performance as her passion. She held several posts in Personnel and HR across a range of industries (Engineering, Manufacturing, Retail and Foods), always operating in the central strategic function as well as maintaining operational responsibility.

 

Annie heads our performance coaching function, including managing our Academy 360 degree behavioural review process. She focuses on team and individual coaching to enable clients to increase team and personal performance.
