Our team was selected to provide a bespoke version of our online competence system, including a full project management service to design, implement, test, launch and support the system in operation. By hosting Shell’s competence frameworks, the PM community is now able to efficiently self-assess their skills against role profiles, with validation from line managers.
With the benefit of competence evidence capture, staff are able to build their portfolios of evidence ahead of formal assessment, managed by The Shell Project Academy. Through analysis of current skills against role profiles, staff are able to plan their personal development from within the system, log CPD and gain line manager approval. Shell is better able to manage resources across its PM community, through capture and analysis of project career history.
Our new generation competency toolkit has been configured for Shell and underwent a global launch in January 2018.
